Description

I’ve been stuffing dates with nut butter for as long as I can remember. This is a decadent spin featuring the dreamiest ghee from Belly of the Sun. I’ve filled these dates with Levity a blend including skullcap, lavender and raw honey as well as Milk Moon (rose, shatavari, lion’s mane, beetroot, raw local honey). These little bites are candy-sweet, with the creamiest centers and covered in dark chocolate. Designed to be stored in the fridge they are perfect treat to have on hand when you’re craving something sweet.

Ingredients

1216 Dates
Ghee (I used about 1/2 tbsp per date)
2 cups Dark Chocolate
1 teaspoon cacao butter or coconut oil

Instructions

1. Pit the dates and stuff a spoonful of ghee inside. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and then place in the freezer while you melt your chocolate.

2. Using a double boiler or microwave, melt together the chocolate and the cacao butter until smooth. Using a fork, dunk each date into the chocolate, shaking off any excess before placing on the parchment. Transfer to the fridge and allow to harden before storing.
