When I graduated college my mother took me to India. In the foothills of the Himalayas we stayed at the luxurious Ananada Spa. Every afternoon we were served a cleansing tea made from ginger, lemon and mint. When I returned home I tried to recreate this tea but something was missing. Years later I reached out in hopes of learning the secret to this tea. I received a reply the next day. A pinch of fennel powder was the secret ingredient . When I drink this tea I am transported to that magical trip.
