Description
For me, nothing is more satisfying (and easy!) than a simple sheet pan dinner. Sumac elevates this salmon into something special. I fell in love with sumac and its floral acidity and tart citrus notes on a trip to Turkey. Paired with rich fatty salmon it is a match made in heaven. Not to mention the violet red hue is gorgeous on the salmons pink flesh.
Ingredients
Serves 4
2 lbs wild salmon
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tablespoon sumac
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 400.
- On a parchment lined baking sheet place salmon. Season with sumac, salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the internal temp is 130.
